Black Copper Marans Hatching eggs

As of 4/17 we still have a short waiting list for Black Copper Marans eggs. Our BCM hens lay on average 6-7 with occasional 5s and 8s. Please be aware that a hen's egg color changes through out her laying cycle and sometimes day to day. We have been breeding for egg color for over 3 years and only hatch eggs that are 6-8 on the Marans color scale, but there is no 100%  guarantee that the offspring will inherit the dark egg genes. We have also been breeding for heavy blooms to maximize the chance of Purple laying hens in our flock. I always add as many dark eggs as I can to a hatching egg order, but you will receive a range of color shades.
